Today Year 1 discovered which material would be the best to mop up spill in the classroom!
The children had a wonderful day and using their passports and tickets travelled on a plane for a quick holiday that included in flight refreshments! They also had a wonderful time making aeroplanes and hot air balloons.
The children have been learning about autumn in science and today we explored outside to observe and record signs of autumn.
The children used drama and roleplay to travel through time and learn about transport in a fabulous workshop.
Today we started to write a poem about autumn. We collected leaves and made a wonderful collage and talked about all the colours we could see.
We are writing instructions on how to make a boat in our English lessons so today we had lots of fun making a boat.
In our history lessons we have been learning how transport has changed over time. Today we learnt how Sputnik was launched from Russia and how Yuri Gagarin was the first man to orbit the Earth but Neil Armstrong, from America, was the first man to walk on the moon.
