We had a fantastic day at Lotherton Hall for our school trip. We had a tour of Wildlife World and enjoyed a workshop all about the rainforests of the world. The children could remember loads about what we've learned so far in school and the whole day brought the topic to life seeing the animals and learning in a hands-on practical way!

Our Learning This Term

• Topic (Geography): Our learning takes us deep into the rainforest, where children will discover its amazing wildlife, explore the different layers of the forest and learn why this vital habitat needs protecting.

• Maths: Children will build confidence in multiplication and division through hands-on activities, games and problem-solving challenges.

• English: In English, children will unleash their creativity by writing exciting narrative stories inspired by the mystery, sounds and adventures of the rainforest.

• Science: In Science, children will explore Animals Including Humans, learning how healthy eating helps our bodies grow, stay strong and full of energy.
